The mechanical abilities of ROCK ‘n’ ROAD Cycle staff are the heart and soul of our business. Our bikes are assembled by us to standards that make future adjustments both less frequent and easier to perform.

Whenever possible, the SAME MECHANIC will take in your repair, agree with you as to the work and cost, perform the labor and explain the work when you pick up your bike. The same person will load the bike in your car if you’re not riding home.

Most repairs are completed in one to two days!

Guaranteed tune-up

Your bike is inspected for necessary repairs, replacement of worn parts and adjustments. Then we adjust all bearings; hubs, bottom bracket, headset, adjust brakes, deraillers, lube chain and other things and true the wheels. Depending on drive train condition we may recommend cleaning of those parts. The adjustments are guaranteed for up to one year with a dated sticker on the frame.

Suspension

Two or three of us are familiar with service on forks and full suspension shocks. We’ll “send it in”, when that is your best option, and reinstall the unit in a timely manner.

Wheels, frames, old stuff, things that are stuck etc.

>We can replace spokes, rebuild wheels on your old hubs or build a completely new pair of wheels for you with custom gearing. Frame repairs are evaluated, straightened or in some cases sent to a frame builder. See Tim for anything “vintage”. Have us show you the pedal the “other shop” couldn’t remove.

Fitting

>Using Fit Kit recommendations, we can change your stem, bars, set saddle position and change crank length to make your bicycle fit as never before. Often, we have some parts here “just lying around” which can cost less than new components.
